I hope you all
had a relaxing and fun winter break! Due to the short week
there will not be new word study/word wall words this week. I
will use that time as a refresher of some of the grammar and word
work we learned before break.

Report cards
will be available on Monday December 5th. However, I must
conference with you in order to give you your child's report card.
If you do not have an appointment, please email me to set up a time.
Please keep in mind, I can meet next week as well.

Another short
week! November is flying by! This week our homework will
be grammar and math review worksheets. There will be no new
word study words or word wall words.
Picture retakes
are tomorrow, November 22.
There is no
lunch on Wednesday, November 23. Dismissal is at 12:00.

Because of the
short week we will not have new word study words this week.
Instead we will have a review of all the word wall words we've
learned up to this point. I will send home a list of all 20
words on Monday and each night there will be a different activity to
complete, using the words. On Thursday we will have a quiz on
the spelling of the words.
For mental math
this week the students will learn their double facts. The
students should practice these facts every night and on Thursday we
will have a quiz on the doubles.
